Booking With Aquatic Learning
We try to make booking, and continuing in our lessons, as easy as possible for you…
Making a Booking
We take bookings over the phone rather than via email because every child has different needs and skills therefore we prefer to have a chat with you before you book. Doing this allows us to get a better idea of your child’s current swimming ability, and any fears they may have, so we can then recommend the most appropriate class for them. We do however assess the children in the water when we meet them, so we therefore reserve the right to move them to a class level that we deem more suitable to their ability if required.
Our class sizes are small and in order to keep classes at the correct ratio we regretfully are unable to offer a facility for children to have a “trial” lesson. From experience we have found that it can also take some children afew lessons before they “settle” which a one lesson trial doesn’t give them the opportunity to do. If any children do have problems “settling in” we shall of course make every effort possible to assist them.
Please contact us therefore in the first instance by calling 0131 669 5454 or by email (firstname.lastname@example.org). We aim to respond to all enquiries within 1 working day, (please note: calls may be recorded for training and monitoring purposes).
Continuing in our lesson programme
We run a “on-going rolling programme” for our lessons. We value your custom so it is only right that you do not loose your space because you simply forgot to rebook. With us you only book once, when you start. Once you have made your initial booking you will continue to be in our swim programme until you “opt out” and tell us that you want to stop. We shall endeavour to send you notification near the end of the set of the prepaid lessons that your child is attending, this notification will tell you when payment will be taken for the upcoming lessons. If you want to continue in our programme you don’t have to do a thing-it shall all happen automatically for you, and your payment processed. If you don’t want to continue and would like to “opt out” all you have to do is email us before the specified date to tell us of your decision, we shall email you back to acknowledge this, and you shall be removed from our programme. Please note, while we shall endeavour to send you notifications regarding opt-out dates etc ultimately it is your responsibility to let us know before the specified opt out date regardless of whether you receive our notifications or not. All our opt out dates are displayed on the website “Locations and term dates” page for you to check at any time.
Once the specified date for opting out of the programme has passed, if no email/written confirmation has been received by Aquatic Learning Ltd from the parent/guardian of a request to opt-out of the programme, your childs space to continue in the programme will be deemed to have been confirmed and refunds will not be given. Any request to cancel before the opt-out date will be acknowledged by Aquatic Learning ltd to the parent/guardian within 2 working days otherwise we ask you contact us again to ensure we have received it. To avoid dispute please note that we can only accept any request to opt out in writing.
In the unlikely event that lessons cannot be delivered by Aquatic Learning, due to a pool closure or other unforeseen circumstances, lessons shall be rescheduled, we shall offer lesson credit(s) or lessons at another venue. Refunds shall not be given
